1. What the programme is
The Merka affiliate programme lets approved partners recommend Merka services through a personal link with a code (for example merka.bg/?ref=CODE). A client arriving through the link receives a discount, and the partner receives a share of the realised request's value.
The programme is separate from the partner programme with models A and B. Taking part in one does not require taking part in the other.
2. Activation and the link
The code and the personal link are issued by Merka after written confirmation. The code works only through a link: there is no promo code field in the request flow and the code cannot be applied on the spot.
A valid link is remembered in the visitor's browser for 30 days. With more than one link, the last one used wins.
3. Discount and share
The standard parameters are a 10% client discount and a 10% partner share. The exact percentages for a given code are stated at activation and are visible in the partner portal.
The share is calculated on the one time value of the request excl. VAT, after all discounts, including the client discount under the code. Monthly services are excluded unless agreed in writing.
4. When commission is owed
Commission is owed only on a request that is won and actually paid by the client. Requests without payment, declined, refunded or terminated projects earn no commission.
Every commission has a hold period, 30 days from the request by default, shown in the partner portal. The period covers clarifications, cancellation or corrections. Once it passes, the commission becomes payable.
5. Payout
Payable commissions are paid by bank transfer against an invoice issued by the partner. The minimum payout is 50 EUR excl. VAT; smaller amounts roll over to the next payout.
Merka pays within 15 business days of receiving a proper invoice. The partner is responsible for their own tax and social security obligations.
6. Partner portal
The partner receives a personal link to a portal with their referred requests, their status and the state of the commissions. The portal shows no client personal data.
The portal link is confidential. The partner must not share it; if a leak is suspected, Merka issues a new link.
7. Acceptable promotion
The link may be shared in the partner's own channels: website, social profiles, email to their own audience, personal recommendations. Prohibited are: unsolicited messages (spam), misleading advertising, acting in Merka's name, bidding on the Merka brand in paid campaigns, and self referrals on own orders.
Merka may refuse commission on requests acquired in breach of these rules.
8. Changes and termination
Merka may change the programme parameters going forward with 14 days' notice via the site or by email. Changes do not affect commissions already accrued.
Either party may end participation at any time. Commissions accrued and owed at the termination date are paid under section 5.
