1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser when you visit the site. We also use similar browser storage technologies (localStorage) to remember your choice.
2. Necessary
Support the core functions and cannot be switched off: remembering the language choice for the session, the cookie consent record itself (merka_cookie_consent, 12 months) and protecting the forms from abuse. With protection enabled, Google reCAPTCHA v3 may set its own cookies when a form is submitted.
3. Analytics · only with consent
Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Ltd.: measures visits, sources and conversions. Cookies: _ga and _ga_* with a lifetime of up to 2 years.
Microsoft Clarity by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.: shows how the pages are used through session recordings and heatmaps. Cookies: _clck with a lifetime of up to 1 year and _clsk for the day.
The analytics tools load only after consent through the banner. On refusal or withdrawal they do not load and any placed analytics cookies are deleted.
4. Marketing · only with consent
The Meta Pixel by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads, including views and submitted requests. Cookies: _fbp and _fbc with a lifetime of up to 3 months.
When a request is submitted we also send Meta a server-side confirmation of the event (Conversions API) with the same service id, so nothing is counted twice. In it the email and phone are transmitted only in hashed (irreversibly encoded) form.
The marketing tools load only after consent. On refusal or withdrawal they do not load, no server confirmations are sent, and the _fbp and _fbc cookies are deleted.
5. Consent and management
On the first visit the banner offers equal choices: „Accept all“, „Only necessary“ and detailed per-category settings. The choice is stored for 12 months with a date, policy version and service id, after which we ask again.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from „Cookie Settings“: the footer link, the floating cookie button after a choice is made, or the settings in the banner itself. The change applies immediately, including deleting cookies already placed by the switched-off category.
The technical consent signaling to Google follows the Google Consent Mode v2 standard: all signals are denied by default and granted only according to your choice.
You can also delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.
6. Changes and contact
On a substantial change (a new category or a new tool) the policy version is raised and consent is requested anew.
